I bought the 5 day deluxe card as it included the travel pass with 20 trips. It was waiting on me when I arrived at the hotel and having the pass made access to all the locations visited so much easier. Clear instructions were sent if meeting guides in busy locations. Guide was excellent and on back of 2 trips with him, specifically booked another knowing it was with Emre. The travel pass gave me the confidence to use public transport without worrying about paying the right amounts or getting off at the right places. It made me more likely to venture out and make full use of all the trips. I used underground, trams funicular and ferries, great value and so useful.

Very convenient if you want to see the main museums and historical sites in Istanbul. The things included in the card corresponded with the things we could visit. We also used the public transport card, which was very useful to reach the places that were far from the city centre. We would highly recommend this card.

Its okay but some explanations are not clear. You can Visit cistern with a guide 2 times a day - on the Museum card it says its not included. Same for the cruise Ticket- you receive a small Voucher looks like advertise- nearly thrown away. Cards were not at the hotel When we arrived but a call was sufficient and cards were their after 15 Minutes allthough it was sunday evening.

Wir haben uns für die Deluxekarte entschieden, da alles enthalten war, was wir besuchen wollten. Oft hat uns Harkan durch diverse Sehenswürdigkeiten geführt. Er erzählte sehr unterhaltsam und interessant. Es waren sehr kurzweilige Führungen. Es wurden während der Führungen auch nette Gespräche geführt. Weitere Tipps hatte Harkan auch parat. Es war alles sehr gut organisiert. Alle waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch die inkludierten Fahrkarten konnten wir gut nutzen. Die Investition ist absolut zu empfehlen.

Emre our guide was really knowledgeable and went the extra mile. It happens that I did more than one tour with him, there was no repetition, always focusing on the group and feeling the pulse. His love for his home and culture transpired. Also the welcome troup was very kind, welcoming and organized. Improvement could be done for handing over the Informationpackage when not staying in Hotel! Pick up at office when not yet having transportation card is tiresome. Yes I recommend the card to anyone.

We did spend 3 full days in Istanbul and took the delux card, which turned to be a great decision! Having the metro card delivered to the hotel and meeting the guides on the first morning for the tours was not only convenient but also extremely time efficient! All our guides were very competent and gave us a lot of interesting facts and information - Emre and Chan, but the highlight was Mehmet! He was so energetic and capturing story teller even at 47 degrees!! We got very lucky to have him as a guide in Topkapi palace and Harem. Thanks to him this turned out to be the best experience in Istanbul for us! Thank you Mehmet! Emre showed us the bazars and some secret passages and stunning views of Istanbul, as well as the Galata and Taksim area. Die Qualitität der Führungen (alle auf englisch) war sehr unterschiedlich: -Topkapi eine glatte 1 - Hagia Sophia eine 3 - Basilica Zisterne nur eine 4 Super pratikisch ist die Istanbul Card für die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Wir sind in 5 Tagen damit viel unterwegs gewesen und haben das Guthaben nicht aufgebraucht.

Having these cards were very convenient and it made our trips around Istanbul extremely easy too. The transport card value had just enough for us to travel for 5 days around Istanbul. The museum cards got us into the most amazing tourist attractions around the area too, slipping the crazy queues and instantly immersing ourselves in the history. The guide was also great, conversing extremely well in English and shared valuable information about each attraction. One thing to note is that museums are closed on mondays and sometimes tuesdays so plan your itinerary according to that!

I purchased Istanbul Welcome Card (Deluxe) a day prior my arrival to Istanbul. They delivered the card to the hotel I booked in. It was fast transaction. My first tour was I'm Hagia Sophia. My tour guide is a lady. Her name is Ezge in Turkish or Melody in English. She was so fluent in English and very accomodating. The mosaic of Jesus and 2 emperor Justine and Constantine is so heart warming. I felt the holiness and the history just by looking at them. Further, the Holy Calligraphy of Allah Mohamed Ali Hassan and more are the biggest in the world. I went to Prince Island and spent my time riding a rented biked until 4:30 PM. Next day, I visited Topkapi Palace and my guide was the bearded guy. He taught us the history and time line of each architecture how once area differs from another because each courtyard or section of the palace has different function and was develop by different Sultans leaving their own footprint or legacy. It is worth a visit. It has a lot of similarity to the forbidden city of Imperial China. I thend went on Bosphorus tour. The reception of isntabul welcome card ask me to download the app. He recomended to sit on the right seat for a better view. The boat is branded TURYOL. It is near the fish and bread boat market. Thank you Melody, bearded guy and Istanbul Welcome Card. I went on solo travel so next time I will bring my family and friends and buy the same. Your services are beyond expectations.

Wir können diese Card nur empfehlen, es lohnt sich wirklich. Kein Stress beim Anstehen, gemütliche, witzige Menschen, die führen. Kleine Grüppchen und eine gute Atmosphäre. Die Führungen sind nicht sehr ausführlich, aber man braucht ja auch keine Vorlesung. Ihr habt die Möglichkeit alles selbständig zu machen und müsst die Führung auch nicht machen. Ausserdem gibt die Führung erst einen guten Überblick und dann kann man selber alles weitere erforschen. Mit dabei sind Fahrten mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Alles easy: nix anstehen oder lösen am Automaten. Ihr spart Euch mit dieser Card viel Zeit (Schlangen vor dem Eingang) und schliesslich auch Geld. Do it! :)

I did not add up if it was truly more economical to get this card. That said, I very much enjoyed the convenience this card offered me as a first time visitor to Istanbul. The guided tours were professional and fun. The no-wait-in-line option is a must. The transportation option is invaluable and easy to use, and add to. The museum pass is fantastic. I also used the shared transport both ways. It is easy, inexpensive and well organized. I find this card, especially for first time visitors, very helpful.

You really get access to nearly all interesting places in Isanbul. But 1) I think you should somehow warn tourists about some places that are in card, but now are on reconstruction. 2) not all guides are great in excursions. Bur some are just wonderful! Es ist eine super Sache gewesen, es war schon im Hotel wo wir angekommen sind, der Guide war toll, der Schnelleinlass hat geklappt. Allerdings hat mir nicht gefallen: online steht dass die Karten 7 Tage gültig sind, die Museumkarte ist aber nur 5 Tage gültig!!!! Das finde ich nicht in Ordnung!!! Das ist Abzocke. Ich würde nicht mehr die Deluxe wählen, sondern nur die günstigeren Varianten wo nur Haghia Sophia, Topkapi und Cisterna Basilika und Istanbulkarte beinhaltet.

Two special guided tours with Adil was very informative, and it really shows that he is knowledgeble and loves to share the story of Istanbul. We purchased the Deluxe version of the Istanbul Welcome Card and couldn't be more satisfied with it. Everything proceeded like clockwork. Emails contained clear instructions re. meeting place and what to expect, even photos showing the guides at the places where you were supposed to meet them. A package containing cards, instructions, maps etc. was waiting for us at the hotel, as promised. We didn't think we were going to use the transportation cards, since we tend to walk everywhere, but they came in really handy for some of the really remote attractions. We even used the tram going out to dinner on a rainy evening. The historian guide, Adil, was very well informed, he answered all our unscripted questions in lots of detail. The other staff we interacted with was personable and willing to provide practical advice regarding means of transportation, what to visit off the beaten path and in what order. We even got a great suggestion for a baklava place :-) We would use this company's services again without hesitation.

Había optado por la versión Deluxe y los servicios que ofrecen tanto el Museum Pass, con las visitas guiadas a Santa Sofía, la Basílica-Cisterna y al palacio de Topkapi de la mano Adil - guía muy competente y didáctico - como la Istanbul Kart (para el transporte público) fueron muy útiles durante los 5 días que duró mi estancia. Es por ello que animo a confiar en la Istanbul Welcome Card para descubrir los encantos y las tesoros de la ciudad sin preocuparse por las largas colas antes de entrar a visitar los museos y monumentos.

The Istanbul Premium Welcome card was perfect for us for the week that we were there. We are a family of eight people and this card covered the main tourist attractions and the travel. We travelled quite a bit on the trams but still did not need to top up throughout the week at all. We didn’t have the need spend a penny on travel or any attractions. The service from the team was outstanding from the moment the cards were ordered through to receiving them at the hotel. The tour guide we had, Adil, was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend anybody planning on visiting the major attractions and museums in Istanbul to purchase this card. We ordered it 2:30 AM and it was delivered to our hotel by 1:30 PM. This card saves time waiting in the line and also included the 90 minutes Boshporus cruise. Their tour guides are very knowledgeable and easy to find in their red shirts in front of Hagia Sophia. Our guide Adil was very informative and took the tour on a reasonable pace giving time to take pictures and answer questions. We were able to cover the Hagia Sophia, Basicila Cistern and Topkapi Palace in one day with Adil.

The Istanbul Welcome Card is a very good choice especially for the skip the line advantage ( the lines at the museum can be huge sometimes) , but also for the tours with the historian guide . We had today all the three tours (Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi Palace and Harem) and he had the pleasure to have as a guide Adil Fide. He made our visits to very interesting by presenting details about the culture, history, habits and life style of sultans in very good english. He answered to all our questions, he had patience explaining things and making sure that everyone understood the information. He also made these experience funny and the information easy to understand for our 12 years old son. Back to the Istanbul Welcome cards is nice that they include a cruise on Bosphorus. We had that yesterday and is breath taking. The city is wonderful and the audioguide helped us learn so many things about it. I would recommend that Dolmabahçe Palace be included in the Istanbul Welcome card, for easy access and better experience. We haven’t used the public transportation yet because is very crowded and we also like to explore the city by foot. To resume, we think that Istanbul Welcome Card Deluxe is a good choice, we saved money and time and we gain wonderful memories.

Dank der Istanbul Welcomecard wurde unser Kurztrip Perfekt.Ganz zu unseren Überraschung wurden wir schon vor unserem Istanbultrip freundlichts Beraten.Bei der Ankunft in unserem Hotel in Istanbul waren die Karten für die einzelnen Aktionen und die Fahrkarten für die Metro bereits in der Rezeption hinterlegt. Mit der Metrocard die auch in unserem Umschlag war konnten wir direkt los zu den Museen vor Ort standen auch mehrer Mitarbeiter für alle fragen zur Verfügung. Wir wurden vom Historiker direkt durch die lange Warteschleife mitgenommen und haben uns somit die lange Wartezeit erspart, dadurch konnten wir an einem Tag auch mehrere Museen besuchen.Der Historiker Yücel war super es war sehr spannend und auch mal lustig .Ich kann jedem diese Karten empfehlen da man sich damit viel Zeit und ärger erspart und somit auch gut Vorbereitet ist für den Urlaub.Der Preis ist super und aufjedenfall angemessen. Istanbul war der Hammer ich werde aufjednfall nochmal hinfliegen und beim nächsten mal aufjedenfall auch noch mal die Istanbul Welcomcard buchen.

The IWC Deluxe was the perfect choice in Istanbul. The tours in Hagia Sophia and TopKapi Sarayi are the best I have ever done with a group! The cost of the card is definitely small compared to what you have to give for all the things included. However, I have to point out that excluding Dolmabahce Sarayi is the sole disadvantage of the card.

Our tour guide, Adil from Istanbul Welcome Card, made our experience amazing. He’s a very smart person, full of information and with answers to every question that my crazy mind thought of asking. Because we had welcome card, we didn’t have to pay extra for entry, so I would definitely recommend it. Now back to the palace... it is out of this world, from the architecture to the trees and gardens inside, it is breathtaking. There is purple marble from Egypt inside that I’ve never had the pleasure to see before. The tiles on the walls date back to the 16th century and that makes me think how ahead of time they were then. Heated floors, marble bathrooms, mind blowing richness. I have also found out that it’s all patched with materials from everywhere and different centuries. It is like a massive jewel in the heart of Istanbul. On top of all that, the view from the last part of the palace is definitely the best one, looking over Bosphorus. I would definitely recommend getting a tour guide so that a bit of the Turkish history and Sultans lives gets in your heart, cause believe me, it will never leave it.

The idea of having a single ticket for 12 attractions (with 3 guided tours) and a 90 minute cruise on the Bosphorus is very good, and the price is reasonable; anyway two complaints: 5 days couldn’t be enough for visiting all the sites in a comfortable way; you should warn that the Fethiye Museum has been closed for restoration since April 2019: I went there and got very sorry.

I have no more to thank for the service given. In our case they had changed our hotel and we went to the office where they gave us the card in person even though they had sent it. Not only did they solve the issue of the card, but we were also accompanied by a person from the office where the Bosphorus cruises departed. They were very friendly and resolved our problems instantly since the hotel change the travel agency did at the last minute. The only drawback we had with the Museum card was in the Cistern (Istanbul) where they charged us the ticket despite being included, but, we were left with the feeling that it was a revival of the person of the place and not because of a problem of the card since it worked perfectly in ALL places avoiding time and queues and without paying anything extra. } Thanks for making us stay great!

Ordered the cards based on the excellent reviews and quick calculations on individual entry prices had we done it ad hoc. The clincher was the fast track entries with an Historian, as a guide giving us a wealth of information, turned out to be the best decision we made. Sarebbero da incrementare gli orari per i tour, solo la mattina è un po' poco per che fa un soggiorno breve come il nostro. Although I had been to Istanbul many times before, this was the first time I decided to use the Istanbul Welcome Card and I think this was a very good decision. Since I wanted to visit several museums again, we chose the deluxe card. The biggest advantage was skipping the ticket lines which were incredibly long due to high season. We also went on an extremely enjoyable tour to Topkapi palace with the historian guide, which I really recommend to everybody, since he is very passionate about his job and he really manages to make the place interesting. We also enjoyed the free entrance to other museums, some of which we would most probably otherwise not have visited but were quite interesting, the Bosphorus boat tour, the included public transport tickets and also discounts on the airport transfer and the Whirling Dervishes ceremony at Sirkeci (Orient Express) train station. Before buying the card, I emailed them with some questions and I always got prompt and helpful replies. Their service is also very friendly and reliable. All in all, we will most probably buy the Istanbul Welcome Card again next time in Istanbul.

I bought the Istanbul Welcome Card because a friend of mine recommended it. I received the package right in my hotel. Inside the package were my transportations and Bosphorus cruise tickets, the pass for the museums and vouchers for the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and Harem tours. With the pass and the guided tours I was able to avoid the long queues in front of the museums. The guide was great, he even was a historian. He had a lot to tell, even things that are not in every book. The transportation tickets also paid off. I used them at the metro, ferry and tram. The Bosporus tour was great as well. The view of the city from the seaside was spectacular. I as well received discounts at very nice restaurants and activities. My Istanbul trip became cheaper than expected and I saved a lot time without searching for anything.

At Topkapı Palace I accidentally ran into Mr. Selahattin Emre Sirmen before I started my visit, and Mr. Sirmen has given me a very professional and instructive introduction to the Palace and to the Ottoman History. He is a nice man and I hope to meet him at the next time I come to Istanbul. One suggestion from me is to send a map with the location of your pick-up kiosks.

Man soll 14 Denkmäler (Januar 2020) besuchen können, im Shop war man nicht imstande, eine Liste dieser Denkmäler auszuhändigen, die www gibt nur 11 an. Fethiye Camii geschlossen, wo gibt es bitte diese Info, die entsprechende www. des Denkmals funktioniert nicht. Hagia Sophia entgegen der Info des türkischen. Ministeriums geschlossen, der Topkapi Palais wieder dienstags ... Ein bisschen mehr touristenfreundlicher könnte es wohl schon zugehen ... Im Tschechischen sagt man eben türkische Wirtschaft....

The pickup in front of the Hagia Sophia also went really well, as there are multiple time slots to pick up the Istanbul Museum Pass within a day, along with helpful staff members to assist us. This pass really saves a lot of time when visiting Istanbul, as there are always a lot of tourists queuing up in front the most famous tourist attractions, such as Hagia Sophia or Topkapi Palace. Regarding its value, it's also really worth it if more than 3 or 4 museums/sites are visited. Highly recommend this pass in terms of both time-wise and economic-wise.

The handover of the cards went well. In future, the card holder should be allowed to pass through the fast track into the monuments. Otherwise the advantage is only not to wait at the ticket counter. General impression was good.

Es una buena opción para ahorrarte las largas colas si vas con los día contados :). La que cogimos nosotros no incluía la Cisterna ( una pena, tuvimos que pagarlo a parte), por lo demás todo correcto. No entregan mapa con la tarjeta, un fallo, considero que deberían hacerlo y a poder ser en el idioma correcto :) Nosotros no fuimos capaces de encontrar ni un solo mapa que estuviera en español , je je je .

We were in Istanbul 5 days and combined with an IstanbulKart and ir really did speed up access. Great service thanks guys. Buy a single IstanbulKart for the trams, bus and metro and you will get to see a whole deal of this wonderful city.

La tarjeta esta bien, fácil de recoger al lado de Santa Sofia. Aunque el museo Fethiye - Pammakaristos, esta cerrado en obras, y el Fuerte Rumeli es imposible de ver. Sin embargo, me pareció raro que no nos dieran un mapa con la localización de los museos, los horarios ni otra importante información. Está claro que se puede seguir mejorando en esto.

We were in Istanbul for 5 days so managed to make great use of this pass. As well as skipping queues at the popular museums, the pass encouraged us to check out a wider variety of places than we might have otherwise done. The Chora museum (beautiful Byzantine Mosaics from the 1300s) in particular, an out of the way gem; the archaeological museum has some very ancient treasures, and the museum of Islamic Art is very well laid out & explained. Add to this the Topkape Palace and Hagia Sophia and we feel we got really value from this card. Definitely recommended for a cultural trip; not sure if it would be worth it for family visits as the museums are not very interactive for children

I have a complaint. The first day we arrived it was bairam, so nobody was waiting in front of Hagia Sofia and nobody answered phone. After 2 hours of searching your agency it was closed, so we lost almost whole first day. Someone shoud tell us about holiday as you have known our date of arrival. Otherwise card works perfectly. It would be nice to add small map of museums that are included.

very good was the museum card. At the Archeological Museum you have to go to the toilet in the Topkapi Museum shop and afterwards you will not be able to visit the archaeological museum without a second pay for the visit. Does not work !!!! Most of the archaeological museum was also in renovation for the full price. very useful is the Istanbul Card for bus and tram. But it is very unpleasant that the tram machines are not written in English. You have to find someone who helps you to charge the card. Istanbul is a cultural dream!! I love this city very much.

I was in Istanbul for a conference and traveled with my wife, so we (partly) turned the trip into a small city-break as well. So out of five days altogether, we had only about two to really visit the sites. And in a city that big and crowded (and it is BIG, something like twice the size of New York) plus packed with monuments you would like to visit -- you don't have much time to wait in lines to buy every individual ticket. This much we knew beforehand so we decided it was probably safer to purchase a Museum Pass in advance. Yet we realized how lucky we were to have done this only after we arrived. When you first reach, for instance, Aya/Hagia Sophia, and realize there are something like 200 to 400 people standing in the line, waiting to purchase that one ticket, and you can use the pass to enter the building practically immediately (separate, speeded entry) -- you realize this makes all the difference. And when you see the situation repeats in front of almost EVERY museum (e.g. the Topkapi is just behind the Hagia Sophia, but you have to repeat the procedure - with hundreds queuing for the ticket - again!), you understand the pass is really a huge advantage. In short, before arriving in Istanbul, friends told us to pick one or two things to see, as there will be no more time in two days. With the pass, we made it to the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi (with the Harem, again separate ticket/entrance), Hagia Irene, the Blue Mosque (free entrance), Chora Church, the Archeological Museum and the Museum of Mosaics. Had we had one or two more days, we would probably have made it to all twelve museums listed in the pass (ours was valid for five days anyway). Also, the passes awaited us at the reception of our hotel when we arrived, as agreed. Nice and easy. No criticism I can think of, except that I would have loved the pass to have been valid for the Cistern as well (across the street from the Hypodrome). For some reason, it seems they only take cash for entrance there, again there was a huge line, so we didn't make it. Perhaps something IstanbulWelcomeCard might want to consider in the future. But in general, I would highly recommend this pass in case you don't have too much time and prefer not to queue (and who does?).
