THE WALKING ROUTE

The Old City Sultanahmet to the Grand Bazaar
Explore the highlights of Ottoman and Byzantine heritage including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace Garden.
Along the 15 min walk to the Grand Bazaar, explore  sights off the traditional tourist path, offering unique historical secrets and one of a kind Instagram spots.

Meeting Poing: At the Hürrem Sultan Hamam, across Hagia Sophia

After lunch break we continue at following route:

Grand Bazaar, Rooftops and the Spice Market
Witness the beauty and skill of Turkish handcrafts, enjoy a Turkish tea its flavorful history, capture amazing pictures from rooftops, visit a local food market and try spices, herbs and Turkish Delights at the Spice Bazaar

Departure Point: Çemberlitaş, the Column of Costantine the Great, across from the entrance of the Grand Bazaar

And when you are not tired, you can continue exploring the Taksim area. Should you be tired you can join this part of the tour the next available day.

Tunnel Square, Taksim, Dervish Lodge and Galata Tower
Follow in the footsteps of the Italian, Greek, Jewish, Austrian, Russian and German cosmopolitan cultures which once resided here and discover famous sites such as the Galata Tower, Dervish Lodge and Tunnel Square.

I had a wonderful day in Istanbul. On the walking tour you can see the city for a different and nice way. Markets, streets, histories, mosques. The walking tour was very interesting and informative. All questions were answered at any time. Our guide - Emre - has a huge knowledge, good company, made you fell confortable during the tour and knew his city perfectly. He also told us about the religion, markets and origin, mosques and how and why they are inside, told us all the history behind the place and also showed incredible views. Emre is highly recommended. If you like to walk, this tour is perfect. Amazing.
