Super Helpful Pass. Just Don’t Forget to Scan It Long Enough to Activate the Card.

The Istanbul Go Pass made getting around the city ridiculously easy. We did miss one thing at first, you have to hold the card on the scanner at metro&tram for about 10 seconds to activate it the first time. It’s written in the envelope, but we totally skimmed past it. We called them, and they were super friendly and walked us through it in less than a minute. Once activated, everything worked perfectly. I especially loved taking the tram early in the morning when the street cats were lounging everywhere. They’re honestly the cutest part of Istanbul. Between the audio guide, the unlimited transport, and the eSIM, this pass was a lifesaver. Highly recommend!
